Crowns and Veneers

Sometimes a tooth requires a restoration fabricated in a dental lab such as a crown or a veneer. A crown is a full coverage restoration that is commonly used when a tooth is cracked or fractured, has a large cavity, protects a root canal or for esthetics. Veneers are not full coverage; rather they just cover the front of the tooth. They are generally used to cover discolored teeth, or to help close minor spaces between teeth.
